Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about appointments, confidentiality and what to expect at KAHN Clinics. If you don't see your question, just ask — we're happy to help.

Is everything confidential?

Yes, completely. What you share with us, the care you receive, and the fact that you have visited us at all are all kept strictly private. We handle your information in line with South Africa's POPIA, and we never share it without your consent unless the law requires it.

Do I need a referral to book?

No referral is needed. You can request an appointment with us directly, either online or by phone, and our team will call you back to arrange a convenient time.

Will I be judged?

Never. We have built our clinic to be a warm, judgement-free space. Every woman is welcomed and treated with dignity and respect, whatever her situation. Every question is welcome too.

Can I bring someone with me?

Absolutely. You are welcome to bring a partner, friend or family member if that helps you feel more comfortable — and you are equally welcome to come on your own. The choice is entirely yours.

How do I make an appointment?

You can request an appointment using the form on this website, or by calling us. We will then contact you privately to confirm a date and time that suits you. There is never any obligation.

What information do I need to provide when booking?

Only the basics — your name and a contact number so we can reach you. Please do not enter medical details into the website; anything about your health is discussed privately during your consultation.

Are your practitioners qualified?

Yes. Our care is provided by qualified, registered professionals who focus on women’s health. If you would like to know more about the team, please ask when you contact us.

Still have a question?

Our team is here to help — confidentially and without judgement.
