What you'll notice
An IP camera drops off the NVR intermittently or permanently; the app shows the channel as offline.
Why it happens
PoE budget exceeded on the switch, a marginal cable run over 100 m, IP address conflicts, or camera firmware crashing under load.
How we fix it
We measure the run, test the port and its power budget, fix addressing properly (reservations, not luck) and update firmware — so the camera stays online instead of "coming back by itself" until next week.
