What you'll notice
Perfect picture by day, black or unusably dark by night; or a milky white-out glow instead of a clean IR image.
Why it happens
Failed IR LEDs, a stuck IR-cut filter, IR bounce off a nearby wall or eave, or insects and webs reflecting the IR flood.
How we fix it
We test the IR array and cut-filter switchover, clear reflection sources, and replace the camera if the LEDs have aged out — checking the night image on site after dark, not just the spec sheet.
